For Those Who Made The List And For Those Who Did Not-  Fate is a weighing balance, that could fall on either side of sad experiences and joyful ones.

For those who made the supplementary list and direct entry list, you have every reason to be joyous and happy, relish the moment; relish the moment, your patience has finally paid off. The real fact is the real work starts immediately: Lectures has already commenced, there are series of notes, assignment, practicals and learning that you have missed due to no fault of yours.

You need to be switched on from day one.  Actively look out for those with the necessary notes and learning experience. Don’t be shy. Embrace the wide varieties of  study tips to enhance your preparation.

It is not a time to be carried away by the aura and feeling of being in a higher institution (that will be another time) , it is a time for drastic and intense preparation to catch up on what you missed.

Create an environment for yourself that fosters creativity and learning.

For those who did not make the list, don’t take this event too heavily on yourself. It is no fault of yours, it as a result of something fundamental; a dysfunctional educational system. You were not tested on your academic abilities, so it has nothing to do with you. Do not be dissatisfied with yourself, this should give you the incentive to work harder and make more favorable choices.

For candidates with wrong subject combinations, this is an opportunity to re-strategize and emerge more refined and better.

Education is indeed an adventure of discovery.
